Meet Chris Bailey
Chris was born in Norwich and educated in both Norwich and Essex. At 18 he travelled to Australia for a year and stayed fourteen! He worked as an actor in television, on stage and radio before returning to Norfolk to commence working in event management. The extensive list of projects are included in the other web pages.
His roles have included:
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with corporate clients
- Overall project management responsibility
- Create and implement business and social activity programmes for small & large groups
- Negotiate booking of sub-contractors, associated accommodation, vehicle, property and venue hire
- Developing and maintaining budgetary control
- Initial programme development and liaison with client throughout promotion
- Creating ideas for stand design and build
- Creating and controlling promotional budgets
- Preparing press releases and marketing plans
- Liaise with local and national newspapers for event coverage
- Create print advertisements
- Activate direct mail copy and campaign
- Representing the company at internal and external events
Chris ran the Mazda Cars National Pairs Golf Championships from 1997-99 trebling the level of entries from 1200 to 3700 during that time. A confident speaker in front of an audience Chris is able to work with companies as an MC for their event or awards presentations or as part of the front-of-house team welcoming delegates to exhibitions and conferences.
