An Evening of Jazz & Cabaret 2017

Annual fundraiser returns - Sunday 17 September

The 15th annual 'Evening of Jazz & Cabaret' is back at the Norwich Playhouse on Sunday 17 September - and once again it will be raising funds for Breast Cancer Now and Keeping Abreast.
It's Jazz, it's Cabaret, it's also an intoxicating mix of music hall, illusion, comedy and magic - a rich vein of variety to tickle most tastes in a night of fun, frivolity and fund-raising.

Back for the 15th year, this show has become a fixture in the Playhouse Autumn programme raising funds for two breast cancer charities.

Returning to grace the stage is the Welsh wizard of the keys Geoff Eales, Norfolk’s top all-round entertainer Olly Day, blues & jazz legend Albert Cooper, one of the regions most glamorous harmony trios The Voxettes,  the versatile Rachel Duffield and The Simon Brown Trio. And making their debuts with the show will be vocalist Brigitte Beraha, mind-reader maestro Chris North, and David Rees & Julie Hewitt with their tribute to Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet.

The show is sponsored for the 12th year by Newsmakers, with valued support from Allens Pianos, Barkers Print, Posterity-IT and TPDS.
